nothin’ cookie cutter about her
“she’s like a wild party wrapped up in your favourite cozy blanket.”
those words were spoken by my mumma, the woman who raised me to value kindness and love above all else. And then i went and put my own unhinged, dark humour all over it, and here we are with the result!
now I’m a mumma, raising two beautiful girls that have me in awe with how much they’re teaching me (more than I’m teaching them, for sure).
believing that life should be lived with a healthy amount of whimsy, I’m not above accepting a grammy in the shower or playing the part of cinderella while doing the dishes. in my house, there are always tunes playing and imaginations running wild - fuelled by the many books being consumed on the daily.
I live by the beach and never want to live anywhere else. I despise cardboard with my entire being. i’ve been known to knock back a shot of jäger to loosen up before writing a ceremony, and I’m prone skulling to a pre-wedding red bull.
